However, generally, thanks to a unique peninsular location, Baleal, Peniche and the surrounding areas offer a diverse range of surf spots that cater to all levels and conditions, making it an ideal destination for surfers year-round.

In Baleal, the surf spot right in front of our Surf Guest House offers beginner-friendly waves, making it perfect for those just starting out. Peniche is home to several world-famous surf spots, including Supertubos, which offers fast and powerful waves for experienced surfers. In the nearby town of Nazaré, you can expect to find some of the biggest waves in the world, attracting surfers from all over for big wave surfing. Ericeira, located a short drive from our Guest House, is known for its consistent surf and a variety of beach and reef breaks suitable for surfers of all levels.

The surf spot in front of our Surf Guest House in Baleal is just a stone’s throw away, making it incredibly convenient for our guests. In Peniche, Supertubos is located about a 10-15 minutes drive away, while Nazaré is about a 40 minute drive. Ericeira, known for its diverse surf spots, is located about a 40-50 minute drive from our Surf Guest House.
